JOIN ONE OF OUR PHOTO WORKSHOPS
We run a wide variety of full and half-day workshops that explore all areas of photography. From teaching technical skills, such as using your camera on manual and introducing new areas of photography practice such as the studio or darkroom. To more creative sessions that allow you to express yourself while learning a new art form such as cyanotype printing and botanical toning.

Alongside our public workshops, if you have a small group we can also create private workshops just for you, designed around what you would like to learn. Just get in contact with us and we will see how we can help.
FREE PHOTOGRAPHY WALKS
Are you looking for a free, fun and healthy weekend activity for yourself or the family? Do you have a location where you’d like us to run a walking worksop for you and your group? If so our photo walks could be just the thing.
Throughout the year we run several FREE photography walks for the public which are popular with both adults, children and families.
They are a great way to get some exercise and engage large groups of people while combining the well-being benefits of being outside with learning new skills. They’re also a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and make new connections in a relaxed and fun environment.
Regardless of your chosen photographic device (digital camera or mobile phone), these walks are aimed at all levels of photography, focusing on being creative rather than technical ability
Private walks can be tailored for different audiences and abilities or can be made so they’re appealing to all. We can also build mini workshops into the walks, to create a more substantial event.
HOST A 6 WEEK PHOTO CLUB
Do you have a community group that would like a new activity to engage with?
We have worked with lots of local community groups to provide a weekly photography club for their members.
Based on your specific requirements we will deliver a fun and engaging workshop for your group, that will help them develop their creativity while learning a range of different photography skills.
Over the 6 weeks, the participants have the opportunity to really engage with photography and see how they can use it to express themselves and explore the world around them.
These can be made suitable for all different ages and abilities and can be based at Photo Hub North or at your meeting place. We will also provide all the equipment needed.

1 -1 PHOTOGRAPHY TRAINING AND MENTORING
Our 1-1 photography training is tailor-made to suit your needs. We all work at different speeds and sometimes being in a group learning environment isn’t what is best for you. That is why we offer bespoke 1-1 training and mentoring sessions, enabling you to work in a way that suits you.
Whether you are looking to expand on your current skills, simply become more confident with your camera or learn a new area from scratch, such as editing or analogue photography, we can help.
We can offer full or half-day sessions or a series of shorter sessions over a few weeks to give you time to practice inbetween.
1 – 1 training sessions also make great birthday and Christmas presents for those budding photographers you know who need a little extra help. These can be purchased in advance, then the sessions designed once the recipient has received the gift.
