If you're a photographer looking to develop your film and print your images, renting a darkroom can be a great option. At Photo Hub North we run a community darkroom that offers you the ability to rent time in our darkroom for a reasonable fee. The darkroom is equipped with all the necessary tools and chemicals for developing and printing black and white film.
If you wish to rent the darkroom you can do so as a Photo Hub Member or as a non-member, and fees apply accordingly. You will be required to attend a short health and safety induction before using the space, and possibly an additional training session if you are not familiar with the equipment and processes.
When you arrive at the darkroom, you can bring your film, paper, and any other supplies you need for your project, or we can provide them. Once you're set up, you can develop your film and print your images using the darkroom's equipment.
Overall, renting a darkroom can be a great option for photographers who want to take their craft to the next level. It allows you to develop your own film and prints and gives you complete control over the process.
